Biography

Jill Burks is an upstate New York–based printmaker and glass artist. She holds a B.F.A. from New York University and brings over twenty years of professional experience in graphic and digital design within the magazine publishing industry. Burks has exhibited widely in group exhibitions at the International Print Center New York; The Hyde Collection, Glens Falls, NY; Bullseye Projects, Portland, OR; and the Bellevue Arts Museum, WA, among others. Her kiln-cast glass work Perception Shift received the Gold Medal Award in Bullseye Glass’s Tg: Transitions in Kiln-Glass exhibition, a biennial juried competition recognizing excellence in contemporary kiln-glass art and design. She is currently engaged in immersive glass practice and creative exploration at the Glassmaking Institute at the Corning Museum of Glass Studio (2025–2027).
